| On the eve of World War II, the Greek Catholic Church functioned on Ukrainian territories that belonged to Poland, and consisted of the Lviv archeparchy, the Stanislaviv (now called Ivano-Frankivsk) and Przemyszl eparchies, the apostolic administration for Lemkivshchyna and the Apostolic Exarchate for Volyn, Kholmshchyna and Pidlassia. |
