February 12, 1907 Born in the village of Pustomyty, near Lviv, into a priests family. Received his primary education in Lviv, where he finished four grades at the Ukrainian elementary school.

Studied at the Redemptorist minor seminary in the city of Ashen, Belgium.
1926
Joined the Redemptorist monastery in Belgium as a novice, taking his first monastic vows.
1926 1932
Studied at the departments of Philosophy and Theology in Voplato and Louvain.
1931
Made his perpetual monastic vows.
1931
Ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Vasyl (Ladyka).
1932
Returned to Ukraine.

Worked as a missionary in Volyn.
1935, 1936 1946
Occupied with pastoral work in Redemptorist monasteries in Ternopil, Stanislav and Lviv.
1947
Worked as a library assistant in Ivan Franko State University in Lviv.
June 18, 1947
Arrested in Lviv. Sentenced to five years of imprisonment by the Special KGB Committee of the USSR (Article 5-33 of the USSR Criminal Code)
1947 1952
Exiled to Arkhangelsk region, near the city of Yertsevo.
1952 1955 Returned to Lviv and worked as a guard and accountants assistant.
1955 1959
Studied by correspondence at the Lviv Medical College . Throughout his studies and until his retirement he worked as a medical assistant in ambulance services.
July 1964
Secretly ordained as an auxiliary bishop by Bishop Vasyl Velychkovskyi.
1972 1991
Locum Tenens (acting head) of the Halychyna Metropolitanate of the UGCC. Gave his blessing to the establishment of the underground seminary named after Fr. Vasyl Semeniuk, ordained new priests, took care of sisters of the order of St. Vincent, coordinated pastoral activities in the Lviv archeparchy. Was under constant surveillance.

September 29, 1997
