1903
Born in Stanislav into the family of Fr. Volodymyr Velychkovsky and Anna Teodorovych.

1913 – 1914
Attended elementary school at the Basilian junior seminary of St. Josaphat, located in Buchach.

1917 – 1918
Continued his schooling in the city of Horodenka.

1918 – 1919
Joined the Ukrainian army, graduated from the school of communication services and accountant assistants; worked in the Ukrainian army office in Stanislav.

1919
Arrested by the Poles in the city of Starokonstantyniv and interned in the Zolochiv prisoner-of-war camp. Under threat of another arrest he hid until 1920.

1920
Graduated from school ahead of his class because of his excellent marks.

1920 – 1924
Studied at the Lviv Theological Academy.

1922 (1923)
Ordained deacon by Metropolitan Andrey (Sheptytsky) in Lviv.

1924
Joined the Redemptorist novitiate in Lviv, continuing his studies in theology. .

1924 – 1926
Taught various subjects (history, geography, etc) at the Redemptorist minor seminary.

August 29, 1925
Made his first monastic vows.

October 9, 1925
Ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Josyf (Botsian) in Lviv.

1926
Studied for a short time at the Redemptorist monastery in Vopliato, Belgium.

1926 – 1927
As a monk at the Stanislav monastery, he worked devotedly as a missionary.

1927
Made his perpetual monastic vows.

1928 – 1935
Worked as a missionary in Volyn.

1935 – 1938
Abbot of the Redemptorist monastery in Stanislaviv.

1941 – 1942
Abbot of the Redemptorist monastery in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

1942 – 1945
Abbot of the Redemptorist monastery in Ternopil.

1945 – 1948
Arrested and imprisoned at a jail in Kyiv. Sentenced to capital punishment, that sentence later being remanded to a ten-year jail term.

1945 –1955
Was exiled to camps in the Kirov Region, Vorkuta.
Worked as a miner and medical attendant, secretly performing his priestly duties.

1955
Released and returned to Lviv, where he worked as a priest in the underground.

1959
Nominated as bishop. Began organizing the activities of the catacomb Church and its structure in the underground. Recruited volunteers to the religious life.

February 4, 1963
Ordained as bishop of Lutsk by Metropolitan Josyf (Slipyj) in Moscow with right of succession to the archeparchy of Lviv.

1964
Ordained Fr. Volodymyr Sterniuk, CSSR, as auxiliary bishop .

January 27, 1969
Arrested for the second time. Sentenced to three years of imprisonment for his book “The History of the Miracle-Working Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.”

1968 – 1972
Served his sentence in a high security jail in the city of Komunarsk (Donetsk region).

1972
Released and deported to Yugoslavia, where his sister resided.

1972 – 1973
Met with Pope Paul VI and Cardinal Josyf Slipyj; Made pastoral trips to Canada and the U.S.

June 30, 1973
Died in Winnipeg, Canada.

2001
Beatified as a martyr.
