December 14, 1884
Born in the village of Semakivtsi, Stanislav Region.

1904 -1909
Studied at St. Josaphat's College in Rome.

October 2, 1909
Ordained priest.

1909
Doctorate in Theology from Urbanian University in Rome.

October 19, 1919
Entered the Redemptorist novitiate.

September 16, 1920
Took his monastic vows.

1920 – 1926
Taught at the Redemptorist minor seminary in Lviv.

1926 –1931
Worked as a missionary in Volyn, and was abbot of the Redemptorist monastery in Kovel.

January 16, 1931
Nominated apostolic visitator for Volyn, Kholmshchyna, Polissia and Pidliashshia.. Also appointed exarch for Slavs of the Byzantine rite in Poland and outside the Greek Catholic eparchies in Halychyna.

February 8, 1931
Ordained bishop by Bishop Hryhoryi (Khomyshyn) in Rome.

1939
Appointed exarch for Volyn, Polissia and Pidliashshia by Metropolitan Andrey (Sheptytsky).

1941 – 1945
Lived in Lviv, taught Philosophy, Psychology and Moral Theology at the Lviv Theological Academy.

April 11, 1945
Arrested in Lviv.

1946
Sentenced to six years of imprisonment and five years of exile. Sent to concentration camps in the Siberian gulag near Mariiinsk (Kemerovo region) in the city of Vorkuta Komi ASSR.

1956(57)
Returned to Lviv. Secretly ordained priests and decided to allow priests who converted to Orthodoxy to come back to the Greek Catholic faith.

1959
Died. Buried in the Sknyliv Cemetery.

Early 1960s
Reburied in the Lychakivskyi Cemetery.

2001
Beatified.
