Course objective is to help students form a comprehensive, scientifically based vision of the processes that accompanied the establishment and growth of Christianity along with the development of church structure on the territory of present-day Ukraine from ancient times to the present. |
Scope of the course:
162 academic hours, among which 70 hours are allocated for lectures, 38 for practical classes and 54 for individual work.

Individual study of historical sources and critical reconsideration of historiography will facilitate the development of students' objective, denominationally unbeased, analitical skills and aid in the proper evaluation of the historical past. That is why, apart from the lectures, the course includes through investigation of particular topics during seminar classes, colloquiums, and writing essays and research papers.
