| Dr. John-Paul Himka |
Dr. Himka earned his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan (USA) and now teaches history at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He has authored numerous works on contemporary Ukrainian history (19th and 20th centuries.). On April 27, 1999, the LTA presented his new English-language book, Religion and Nationality in Western Ukraine: The Greek Catholic Church and Ruthenian National Movement in Galicia, 1867-1900. |
